The Association of Residence Hall Students (ARHS),the primary representative voice for the University Park residence hall community, will host Cultural Moment Tuesday night in Heritage Hall.
ARHS ensures that “students in the residence halls have an experience that is more than just living in a “dorm” room. ARHS works with the offices of Housing, Food Services, and Residence Life to make sure that all parts of residence hall life meet students’ needs.”
With over 14,000 students living in residence halls at Penn State, ARHS provides a way for students to get involved with their residence area while helping to improve overall student life for on-campus students.
The event will focus on shining a light on various cultures at Penn State through performances from multi-cultural groups and a conversation about diverse experiences from different leaders across Penn State.
Groups performing at the event include: the Dominican Student Association, Club Kreyol,
Mu Sigma Upsilon, Sigma Omicron Pi, Malaysian Students Club and Alpha Phi Alpha Inc.
Cultural Movement starts at 7 pm in Heritage Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Desserts will also be served. More information on the event can be found here.
