WE ARE Women: Abby Kennedy

This month of March is women’s history month. This month we will look at powerful women at Penn State making a difference.

Abby Kennedy is a junior studying English and Secondary English Education with History and Latin American Studies minors at Penn State. Along with with her studies, Kennedy is a member of the Coda Conduct a capella group as well as member of the Penn State Slam Poetry Team. Recently, Kennedy teamed up with Schreyer Honors College Associate Dean Dr. Nichola Gutgold to co-author Madam President: Five Women Who Paved the Way, a children’s book highlighting the accomplishments of women’s in politcs.
